Back in 2017, Chris installed new hardwood flooring in our living room, dining room and hallway. He also removed stippling from the ceilings, painted and installed new baseboard in those areas. The price was right! We are very happy with the result and continue to enjoy the fruits of his labour. We would not hesitate to recommend Tooley’s Painting and Home Improvements.

Chris and Shelly are great to work with. Chris has been doing work around my house for 13 years. I’ve had hardwood floors, stairs, railing, family room, dining room and bathroom done. Family members have also used Chris for renovations. Wouldn’t use anyone else. Chris is pleasant, trustworthy and cleans up his work spaces well.

Chris’s wife, Shelly, quoted a fair and reasonable price, (they were the middle of three we received).  It took a while for us both to get together on start dates.  Having said that, the job was completed in a very professional manner, and to offset the time frame concerns, Chris and Shelly paid for the new faucets and shower head that we had installed.  Chris also said the work came with a guarantee and that he would stop by to fix any problems when in the area, but we have never had any problems.

All in all, a job well done, and we would certainly use Tooley’s again, and recommend them to others.

Chris has done a great job on all the projects that he has done for our home. He was open to suggestions made by us and with suggestions of his own when problems and/or difficulties occured. I also appreciated his honesty. He is always respectful of the people in our home and for our property. I will continue to use his services for any future projects.

Chris finished our basement in 2009 and we couldn’t be happier with it. He did quality work and it was completed on budget (or slightly under if I remember correctly). He answered all of our questions and offered good advice on the design of the basement when we asked his opinion. We would certainly hire Chris again.
